Meet Jeremy Ashburn. SEO Guru, CEO and Founder of Pushleads.com. Jeremy has become one of the busiest guys I know because he has something every small business wants, the knowledge of how to get your website to the top of search engine results. SEO = Search Engine Optimization. If you don’t know what it is, you need this guy badly. Jeremy started his company, Push Leads, because a few years back, he became obsessed with how Google and other search engines find relevant content and rank websites higher as a result. This is a thing that has eluded many people, myself included. Jeremy uses targeted keyword research and gives very customized assignments to each client to help businesses scale the mountain of ranking onto page one. It’s not instant, but this process is vital to getting discovered online. You can have the most amazing website in the universe, but if it’s on page two, it doesn’t matter diddly-squat. Your potential customers won’t find you. The cover photo on this post shows Jeremy delivering a podcast. It’s one of the things he does to educate people on how to DIY your SEO. Here, however, is a smiling Jeremy at his desk, ready to help.
Jeremy does his magic in a small corner of a great big artist studio in The Riverview Station. It’s one of the biggest buildings in Asheville, NC’s River Arts District housing many world class artists including Jeremy’s suite mate, Matt Tommey, a fine art basket weaver. As a result, Jeremy’s office is a very inspiring place to hang out. I took a few photos of him by the front door of his suite because I love the bricks against the Scottish vibe that Jeremy has going on.
A horizontal version, great for web use.
When Jeremy isn’t working or being a great dad to his three kids, he is often writing poetry. He recited one of his poems to me once, and it was very beautiful. Jeremy is a creative. You might not think that pushing a website to the top of search engines is a creative endeavor, but it is! Finding a way to make relative keywords be incorporated into your website in a natural and flowing way is a creative talent. Kind of poetic, actually. Takes getting into the minds of searchers, and the soul of business owners. We made a few artful black and white portraits over by the beautiful window light at the back of his suite.
Jeremy is helping me rank this site. It’s so brand new that we have a ways to go. Jeremy says it takes at least 90 days. Give me 90 days and come back and let’s see where this site lives. Where is your website ranking? Push Leads offers a complimentary analysis and consultation.
